Adhān (Call to Prayer)
The Adhān is one of the strongly recommended acts for the five daily prayers. Its wording is as follows:
“Allāhu Akbar” (Allah is the Greatest) — four times.
“I bear witness that there is no god but Allah” — twice.
“I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah” — twice.
“I bear witness that Ali is the Wali of Allah” — twice.
“Come to prayer” — twice.
“Come to success” — twice.
“Come to the best of deeds” — twice.

Iqāmah (Call to Commence the Prayer)

“I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah” — twice.
